In 1987, Dr. Blanchard opened his Bellevue family dentistry office in Factoria, only a few miles away from where he grew up and overlooking Newport High School, where his wife went to school. From the very beginning, he grew his practice based on the principles of honesty and good ethics to create personable relationships with his patients.

The Early Years

While in high school, Dr. Blanchard developed a keen interest in the sciences and a knack for taking things apart and putting them back together, with a curiosity for understanding how various things work. He comes from a family of engineers, artists, and designers. Recognizing this skill set, Dr. Blanchard’s childhood dentist and family friend suggested he look into the dental profession as a possible career path.

College Years

Dr. Blanchard graduated from the University of Washington, earning both his undergraduate degree and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree there. Both he and his wife grew up just a few miles from the office and enjoy a deep connection to the area.

Dental Practice

Dr. Blanchard opened his practice in 1987, developing the mission to provide the best dental care in a relaxed, yet professional environment. As a result, he prides himself on establishing long-term relationships with his patients and feels so fortunate to have been able to care for four generations of several families. His dedication is recognized by being selected as one of Seattle Met's Top Dentists for several years running.

Outside the Office

Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Blanchard worked in the Alaskan fishing industry. He married the love of his life, Nikki, and together they have a beautiful daughter, Danielle, and a wonderful son, Beau. We can’t forget the last member of the family, a Labrador retriever named Ollie.
